I do 100 pressups, 100 situps and 50 pullups a day and it keeps me strong / looking pretty good tbh

Bodyweight exercises are great, free, can do them anywhere, involve more than one muscle group (compound exercise) and are perfect for younger people who don't wanna do too many heavy weights before they have finished growing. Also they don't make you too bulky for your martial arts which is a bad thing in most

i was thinking the same thing i do 50 push ups 50 sit ups 5lb weights 200 reps and 40 reps lifting up

Right now im 15 and 150lbs. It keeps me strong so ill keep on doin that until im older then ill do more than that, because when you're 18 you have developed all you muscle mass.

There is nothing wrong with working out at a younger age, it's a myth that it causes damage tbh - And you don't just magically "Develop" muscle mass by the time you are 18. I think you mean your growth plates will be near enough closed?

But there really isn't much hard doing a proper weight program at a younger age tbh
