Re: "Explosive Power"
I'll try and keep it short:
Explosive power isn’t just a measure of muscular strength and/or speed but rather a measure of the power of your energy systems. Think of how high your vertical jump is or how hard you can punch or kick as a measure of external power. Your energy system power can be thought of as internal power.
Some good excersises for Explosve Power include (Try YouTube to see what they are)
> Barbell Sub- Maximum Impact Plyometric Jump Box Squats:
> Depth Jumps
> Dumbell Jerk
> Load Release Jumps
> Standing Triple Jump:
And finally something that you should already be doing if you're training for MMA is Hill Sprints (Running up and down hundreads of steps also is VERY good for fitness and explosve power too)
Hope i helped, Jay

TKD technique
As well as training your strength and/or speed attributes, another thing to look into is improving (or rather noticing) how your technique fairs. I was always taught to end a straight punch by twisting your wrist at the last minute, my martial art works on a physics system in the sense that you can generate power, speed and strength from within using technique alone. If you work on your wrist twist you will gradually increase penetration and power, believe me. On top of this all I can say is focus on your target, if you keep your eye on the bal you'll make contact everytime with unwavering efficiency, I hope this helped.
